The Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Charlotte Checkers have re-assigned forwards Josh Holmstrom and Derek Arnold to the ECHL respectively.

Holmstrom made a short stint with the Sound Tigers, including spending “National Sibling Day” with his older brother Ben Holmstrom. While at the AHL level, Holmstrom saw action in a single game with two shots and a minus-one rating.

This season, Holmstrom has an assist over seven games at the AHL level and 30 points (17g, 13a) over 61 games with the Missouri Mavericks at the ECHL level.

Arnold returns to the Manchester Monarchs after being loaned to the Checkers. During his most recent AHL stint, the forward tallied two points (1g, 1a) over five games. Arnold has spent 14 games in the AHL this season with Charlotte, Ontario Reign and Portland Pirates.

This season Arnold has 30 points (16g, 14a) over 42 games with the Manchester Monarchs at the ECHL level this season.
