LOWELL, Mass. — The Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell normally plays host to the UMass Lowell River Hawks men’s hockey program, but will cover up the ice and setup a ring as Titan Fighting Championship holds Titan FC 32 on Friday, December 13.
Two title fights, along with nine other bouts make up Titan FC 32. In the main event, Jon Madsen (7-1-0 MMA, 0-0-0 TFC) will face Jack May (7-2-0 MMA, 0-0-0 TFC) for the vacant TFC Heavyweight Title. The co-main event features Desmond Green (13-3-0 MMA, 1-0-0 TFC) taking on Steven Siler (23-13-0 MMA, 0-0-0 TFC) for the vacant TFC Featherweight Title.
Madsen is coming off a a victory over Matt Foster at Pheasant City Fight Night 7 in South Dakota. The veteran of five UFC bouts (4-1-0 UFC) was cut from the promotion after suffering only a single loss, coming at UFC Fight Night 24 in 2011.
May is a late replacement for the Dave Herman, who has been scratched from the card. “The Outlaw,” who was originally set to face Lew Polley on the TFC 32 card, but was moved up to the main event and will get his shot at the TFC Heavyweight Title. May is coming off his only two professional losses of his career in his only two bouts in the UFC, his last coming against Shawn Jordan at UFC Fight Night 47 in Bangor, Maine.
Green is coming off a victory over MMA veteran Miguel Torres at Titan FC 31. “The Predator” is a veteran of five Bellator bouts (3-2-0 BMMA), including a loss to Daniel Weichel during the Bellator Season 10 Featherweight Tournament Final.
Siler has nine UFC fights (5-4-0 UFC) on his resume, but has fell victim to losses over his last three bouts leading to his being cut from the promotion. “Super Siler” brings experience to the ring and will face an experienced fighter in his own sense on Friday, December 13.
